It had been a long day for Hunter. First her breakfast had decided that her stomach was not a suitable home and had been doing its best to come out the way it entered. The constant threat of vomiting made it nearly impossible to focus in class. And of course, the normal crowd of Gryffindor students Hunter had come to deist were casing more trouble than average. In short, Hunter was not happy. A grumpy Hunter Aldon also happened to be a violent Hunter Aldon.

It had taken every once of willpower the girl possessed to not sleep through the entire history of magic class. After escaping the seeming endless lecture from the ghost, Hunter wanted to escape. Just get away from every living person that was not Jacob. In her current mood, she wasn't sure how many more idiots she could tolerate without sending somebody to the hospital wing. So Hunter and Jacob hung back and let the halls clear out before starting a quick journey to the Astronomy tower.

About halfway up the staircase, Hunter finally achieved the solitude she desired. Jacob was right behind her, of course, but he was behaving in his normal silent pattern. It always confused her how a man his size was able to be so stealthy and ghost like. She however, was nowhere near quiet. The clacking of her heels against the stairs was echoing loud enough to make up for the lull in conversation.

But Hunter noticed she was no longer alone. A second pair of footsteps rung in her ears. Somebody was behind her. The red head assumed Jacob would have noticed it too. So the pair stopped at the next landing and waited. Her prey arrived soon. It was tall Ravenclaw boy. One she didn't know. Jacob slid behind the stranger as Hunter walked up to face him. "Following me huh? Trying to snoop in on Inquisitorial Squad business? Or just trying to look up my skirt?" She growled and glared up at the much taller boy with her hair covering her left eye. "Go on. Start listing your excuses and I might not have Jacob here throw you down the stairs. But I'm a very busy girl, so do make it quick."

I'm going to start beating you now. I'm not sure when I'll stop.
